Burma police clash with Muslim protesters in Maung Daw

A Hindu woman was raped and killed by 3 Muslim men.
Protesters in the western Burmese town of Maung Daw have clashed with police over a sectarian dispute.
It was not immediately possible to confirm casualties. However, eyewitnesses told the BBC that police opened fire on demonstrators.
The clash occurred when members of Muslim community took to the streets in their hundreds in protest at the killing of 10 Muslims allegedly at the hands of a local Buddhist group.
It follows a week of sectarian strife.
Tensions rose after the alleged rape of a Buddhist woman, blamed on members of Maung Daw’s Muslim minority.
Although Muslims in Burma are the minority, FFI is told that in Moung Daw Town, there are 20,000 Buddhists Ethnics people and over 400,000 Bengali Muslims illegal immigrant. Thus the Arakanese Buddhists have become Minority in their home land.
The victim was identified as 26 year old Ma Thidar Htwe from Thapraychaung Village in Rambree Township. She was said to be raped and killed by three Muslim youths on her way back home after working in Kyauknimaw Village around 5 pm on May 28. According to the eye-witnesses, her dead body bears a slice at the throat, several stabs on the chest, and stabs and cuts on the vagina and pubic region.
There are differing accounts of casualties in Friday’s protests but none of the reports could be independently confirmed.
The protesters reportedly attacked several buildings in the town, including a hospital where a doctor and his wife were said to have been injured.
One person from Burma wrote to FFI reporting that the rioters have killed at least ten people.
Others have reported to BBC that police also fired on protestors and several Muslims are also killed.

Uttarayan Vedas: "  La Ilha  Harti Papam Illa Ilaha  Param Padam Janma Baikuntha Par Aup-inuti Janpi Namo  Muhammadam  " Approximate Meaning :There is no shelter but "La Ilaha ... ... ... ..." to  get rid of sin. The shelter of Ilah (Allah) is the actual shelter. If one is born on earth, there is no alternative to getting salvation from sin but to take shelter in Ilah (Allah). And for this, it is essential to follow the path shown by Muhammad. Atharva-Vedic Upanishad ||9||: "Aushwa illaley Mitravaruna-Raja Tashmat-Tani Divyani Punastang Dudhya Habaiyami Milang Kabar Illallang Alla-rahsul Mahamad  Rakang Baraswa Alla Allam Illallotey Illalla" Approximate Meaning : At an appropriate time,  a Great man named MAHAMMAD will appear, whose abode will be in the desert (Arabia). He will be accompanied by his companions. Allaupanishad: "Hotermindra Hotermindra Mahashurind...

Posted in Hinduism (Analysis) in Share Share How and where the Vedas originated are subjects of much debate amongst Hindu circles. The opinions are divergent. Some believe that the Vedas are millions of years old while others consider them to be not more than five thousand years old. When I read through the many articles written on this subject by Hindus themselves, I found that almost all of them assumed the Vedas to be eternal. Hence, the question of the origin of Vedas is never dealt with properly. Those Hindus who addressed this question trivialized it, knowing well the amount of contradictory opinions within Hindu texts. I will attempt to bring together whatever information we get from authoritative Hindu texts regarding this i...
